Relaxed, Genuine, and Southern Rainstorm Surprise
From the start, Ashley and Kasey brought both heart and laughter to every moment they shared together. Their love felt relaxed, genuine, and full of fun, and their wedding reflected that in every thoughtful detail. They chose to skip a large bridal party and focused on what truly mattered—being surrounded by their closest people.
They exchanged private vows out on the dock, overlooking the peaceful, sweeping marsh views.
In true Southern fashion, a surprise rainstorm rolled in just as they began to speak. Kasey’s dad stepped in with umbrellas and a lighthearted grin that lifted the moment. Hair and makeup stayed flawless, thanks to good humor and great prep. Thankfully the storm passed just as fast as it arrived, giving way to glowing skies and sunshine.

A soft palette of sky blue, crisp white, and lush green set a calm, classic tone. Blue patterned linens, delicate florals, and crystal-clear glassware brought elegance with a relaxed charm. Graceful lounge areas faced the marsh and blended comfort with effortless style. A romantic sailcloth tent held wooden chairs and flickering candlelight, adding warmth and intimacy. Every intentional detail transformed the backyard into a sophisticated celebration space. Because of all this, Kasey and Ashley’s day mirrored a scene straight out of Southern Living.

Kasey and Ashley exchanged vows beneath a grand oak tree, overlooking the peaceful Savannah marsh—a truly breathtaking backdrop. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour poolside, sipping drinks and savoring appetizers the private chef carefully prepared.

Later, just a short drive away, we explored the timeless grounds of Bethesda Academy.
